What Documents Are Needed for Thailand eVisa Application?

Common Documents Required

All the Thailand eVisa eligible travellers irrespective of their travel purpose are required to submit:

1. Passport Bio Page Scan

• A clear scan showing all 4 corners and readable passport details.
• Ensure the passport is valid for 6 months from the arrival date.

2. Passport-Size Photograph

• Submit recently taken photograph having a light color background.
• Ensure the applicants face is clearly visible and does not have any shadow or blurriness.

3. Travel Booking Confirmation

Depending on the mode of travel, submit proof of entry into and exit from Thailand such as flight ticket, bus ticket, cruise/ ferry booking or any other travel proof.

4. Accomodation Proof in Thailand

Submit hotel or guest house booking confirmation. If you will be staying with a host, an invitation letter is required confirming complete stay details.

5. Sufficient Fund Proof

Submit last 3 months bank statement with a minimum balance of 20,000 TBH.

For sponsored trip, sponsorship letter must be submitted. The letter must clearly indicate that all the trip expenses will be covered by the person or the organisation sponsoring the trip.

6. Document Indicating Current Location

Submit a document confirming the country you are currently staying, such as a valid visa, flight ticket or accommodation booking.

The applicant will be required to select a purpose of travel while filling out the application form. For some purposes, additional documents are required.

Invitation or Confirmation Letter from the FootBall Club

Submit letter issued by the footbal club in Thailand confirming your participating in the football trail.

Medical Treatment

Hospital/ Medical Centre Appointment Letter

Submit appointment letter issued by the hospital or medical centre in Thailand where the treatment will take place.

Recreational Learning or Training Related Activities

Letter of Acceptance from Institute or Company Organising the Activity

Submit letter of acceptance issued by the Thailand Institute or Company responsible for organising the learning or training activities.

Visiting Family Residing in Thailand

Submit a document confirming family member’s legal status in Thailand. Accepted documents include Thailand national ID, passport copy, visa, residence permit etc.

Participant of MICE Industry

Letter from the TCEB (Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau)

Submit letter confirming the applicant’s registration and participation in the MICE event.

Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) Before Entry

All the travellers entering Thailand via land, sea or air are required to fill out Thailand digital arrival card online within 3 days before arrival. After confirmation an email with QR code will be issued to the applicant that they will be required to present upon arrival.
