Documents Required for the Egypt eVisa

Applicants are only required to submit the following one document for their Egypt eVisa application: 

Passport Bio Page Scan

• The scan of the passport bio page must be valid, clear, coloured and high-resolution.
• All four corners of the bio-page should be fully visible, including the MRZ code, and each detail must be easily readable.
• Make sure the passport belongs to the applicant, even if you’re applying on behalf of a minor.
• Screenshots, damaged or expired passports are not accepted. 

What should be the validity of my passport?

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of arrival. It must also contain at least 2 blank pages for official stamping.

The Egypt eVisa application form is easy to complete. Just follow these steps: 

Step 1: Complete the eVisa Application Form

Fill out the eVisa application form with your passport, travel and personal details.

Step 2: Review and Upload Document

Review the application form carefully for accuracy and attach a scanned copy of your passport bio page.

Step 3: Pay the Fee and Await Approval

Pay the eVisa processing fee securely using a valid payment method such as credit/ debit card, cryptocurrency and wait for approval.

Step 4: Receive eVisa Approval

The approved eVisa will be sent directly to the applicant’s email ID. Download and print a copy for the immigration check.

Can I revise my Egypt E-Visa form after submitting my application?

No. There's no option to edit or change the details after submission. Please ensure that all information in the fields is accurate and complete to avoid delays or rejection.

Will I receive a confirmation after paying my eVisa fee? 

Yes. Once you’ve successfully paid your eVisa fee, a digital confirmation receipt will be sent to your email ID. Download it for future reference.

How to Get your Egypt eVisa Faster?

The Egypt eVisa is processed under three different timelines. Two of which are dedicated to faster eVisa processing: 

Super Rush Processing and Rush Processing. The third option is Standard Processing, which is for people who have sufficient time before their departure.

What is the Fee for the Egypt eVisa?

The Egypt eVisa cost differs by nationality and the specific eVisa validity and entry type you choose while applying. Applicants can use the eVisa fee tool available at the top of the page to know the exact amount payable.

• Scroll to the top of the page, select your country from the drop-down list.
• The total cost of your selected eVisa category will then be displayed on your screen.
• Check the eVisa cost carefully based on your entry type, validity and duration of stay.

Do I need to pay extra if I choose a faster processing option?

Yes. An additional fee applies if you select a faster processing option. For Rush Processing, the extra fee is $59, andfor Super Rush Processing, it is $99.

Can I request a refund after submitting the Egypt E-Visa application?

Egypt E-Visa is not eligible for a refund. Applicants must review all details carefully before making a final payment.

Can Travellers Apply for an Egypt eVisa extension?

Eligible nationals can extend their tourist visa by going to Egypt Passports, Emigration and Nationality Administration before their current visa expires.
