Myanmar Tourist eVisa Additional Requirements

In addition to the common requirements applicants who want to apply for the Myanmar tourist eVisa need to upload a clean scan of the following document:

1. Proof of Accommodation

Provide a clear scan of your proof of accommodation for your stay in the country, the accepted accommodations are:

Important Note: Proof of residential or private address will not be accepted for Tourist eVisa applications.

2. Return Travel Ticket or Trip Itinerary

a. For Air Travel

A confirmed return flight ticket showing the applicant’s name, flight number and date of departure from Myanmar.

b. For Land Travel (Kawthaung International Land Border Checkpoint)

If the applicant is entering through a land border checkpoint, they need to upload a clean scan of their trip itinerary, showing the intended travel dates and planned activities in Myanmar.

Supporting Documents for Myanmar Business eVisa

1. Invitation from the Organiser

  1. An invitation letter from the organiser clearly stating the applicant’s business purpose and duration in the country.
  2. The invitation letter must mention the applicant’s name and the company’s details, along with a signature/stamp.

2. Business eVisa Requisition Letter from Inviting Company

  • Requisition Letter: Upload a clean scan of the requisition letter from the inviting company to issue the business eVisa for the applicant.
  • The requisition letter must include the following details:
    • Applicant Details
    • Purpose of visit
    • Authorised signature of the company head with an official company stamp.

3. Inviting Company’s Registration

  • For locally registered companies: Submit a copy of the inviting company’s Certificate of Incorporation.
  • For foreign investment companies: Submit a copy of the inviting company’s Certificate of Registration of the Branch Office.

Important Note: The inviting company cannot be an NGO/INGO.

4. Company Extract

  • Submit a Company Extract as official proof to verify the inviting company is legally registered.
  • The uploaded document must show the company name, registration number, and the company’s registered address.

Myanmar eVisa Application Process

Step 1: First select the eVisa type that matches with your intended travel purpose, then complete the application form with correct details.

Step 2: Upload clear scans of all the required documents as per your selected eVisa type.

Step 3: Proceed to pay for the processing using any valid credit/debit card, PayPal or cryptocurrency and submit the application form for processing.

Step 4: Once the processing is complete, the approved Myanmar eVisa will be delivered to the applicant’s email ID.

  • There must be 2 blank pages in the passport for exit/entry visa stamps.

  • Carry a printed copy of your approved Myanmar eVisa along with the same documents used in the application form.
