I need advice regarding my Gambian fiancé living in Cyprus. He has lived and worked in Cyprus for the past 7 years, 4 years in Paphos. We have been together 4years I travel monthly from the Uk to visit him.
We would like to get married in Cyprus, so we can leave together for UK.
We have been waiting on his court case decision regarding his residency for two years now! He has paid all his tax and insurance. He has a work contract, and a contract for a property he has rented last 4 years. His employer and land lady are both appealing on his behalf. We are getting no where!
I know the Cypriots do not want Gambian’s on the island but he is a hard working, honest man who has done everything right. I have spent thousands of pounds visiting Cyprus bringing family and friends. We can prove this is a genuine relationship. Is there anything we can do to get his residency passed??
Kindest Regards
